Rapper Makes $7000+ A Month From Fiverr
Michael Burton (37) a Texan freelance rap artist offers rapping and music packages on Fiverr and makes more than $7000 a month writing songs and rap for his clients.
He has made more than $400,000 from the platform producing clips of about 20-30 seconds.

MCDONALD’S DOMINO’S AND RAPPING–
Burton has been rapping since the age of 15.
“I was actually cut from the basketball team in 10th grade,” says the native Texan, “and I had just a semester to do nothing. So me and my cousin were like, you want to try to rap?”
Burton worked a variety of jobs at Dominos and McDonalds’ all whilst juggling responsibilities at school and still found time to rap, as according to him music was his calling.
After he graduated from the University of Houston, he worked at a call center and there too found time to rap,
“That’s still what I’m doing in my breaks, In my free time, on the weekend. It’s never stopped.”, he says.
Burton enjoyed making music and so after looking at people offering rap packages online on freelancing sites, he decided to give it a try.
THE $400,000 EXTRA CASH FROM FIVERR-
In 2015, Burton started out as a freelance rapper on Fiverr offering to write 20-30 seconds of music for $5.
He quotes-
“The first request I got was, ‘Can you make a rap to my mom about why it’s okay to listen to Eminem?’”
Burton could not navigate his way through this idea and cancelled his account.
But in the summer of 2016, he decided to try again.
By mid 2017, he was bringing in about $3,000 per month.
According to Grow,
Burton is now working full time on the site and brings in between $7,000 and $9,000 per month, or about $80,000 to $85,000 per year.
In total, he has made more than $400,000 creating music for people who want rhymes inspired by artists such as Biz Markie or Juice WRLD.
Burton’s packages have evolved over time Initially, he charged $5 per eight bars which is is roughly 20 to 30 seconds.
He took about a couple of days to complete the task for these types of projects, but it often took him far less.
As requests started pouring in, he revaluated his packages and raised his prices.
Currently for businesses and other artists he works at about $65 for eight bars and around $200 for a minute.
Requests for birthday raps can go for $50 for an eight-bar verse to $185 for eight bars with a chorus, music, and a video.
Do you have a unique skill set? Go for it!
Burton describes Fiverr and other freelancing websites as a literal backdoor for creatives.
Initially, artists pursuing rap music thought the only way to make a living as a rapper was through a record deal.
However, freelancing sites have completely changed the persona of creative careers.
Burton believes there’s tremendous opportunity for creatives on Fiverr and everyone should give it a try.
However, according to Burton the cheat code to online success; may it be a business or marketing a unique skillset is consistency in delivering quality services and prioritizing good customer service.
And he reminds other artists:
“Not everybody does what you do. Your unique skill set can position you for success. Whatever it is, not everybody does it.”
